Hey guys, I have a 72 SS Dash cluster housing that has two broken tabs that a made out of plastic. Because the two plastic tabs are broken it will not bolt up correctly to the dash. I want to glue some metal tabs. What will work best? Any better ideas on how to approach this is welcome!

Just make sure their is no rust or any other grime of any kind on them. It will hold lke cement. It has instructions on the package.

I use this stuff: http://www.coolchem.com/ It's easy to apply, will bond anything together and you can do it in seconds with no mess. Not cheap but a quick and permanent way to fix plastics.

any epoxy based adhesive will work well. just like mentioned above, clean it real good. rubbing alcohol works well. if it is something you will not see, scuff it up some with 80 grit sandpaper first. and remove any paint etc. it will help the adhesive stick.
