Hello. On my 70ss, the bucket seat tracks have 2 mounting holes on one end, and 1 mounting hole on the other. Which side goes toward the front of the car? Also, when sitting on the seat, which way do you pull the lever to adjust the seat, towards the front of the car or towards the back? I checked my tracks and they will install either way. Thanks for any help!

Joe- I'm pretty sure that the lever needs to go backwards to release it from the cog/detent which maintains the current position. Secondly, the portion which bolts to the seat frame would typically move further in the forward direction, as opposed to the rear. In other words: Release the lever, side the upper (seat frame bolt surface) forward, and a greater portion of the lower floor mount is visable than if you release the lever and slide the seat backwards.
(Whew! - too many beers! :-)

The two holes go in the back, the one whole in the front.

It looks like I have 2 drivers side bucket seat tracks. When I mount the tracks with the two holes towards the back, the adjustment lever must be pushed forward to move the seat. Looks like I'll have to mount the tracks backwards for the passenger seat.
