need help the top motor on my 67 convertable will bring the top down but will not bring it back up but 1/2 way then shuts off for about 1minute then will finish going up. i have disconnected the wiring and hooked it to a battery direct and it does the same thing .could use any help on what to try. thanks leonard

Leonard, I think they have a thermal cutout if they get too hot. You might want to have someone watch the lines when you raise & lower it and see if you see a lot of bubbles, you may be low on fluid. Mine cut out when it was low.
