I'm trying to remove the rear panels on a convertible for the first time to clean them up. I've unscrewed all visible screws, however they are still fastened to the back of the rear seat under the well liner somewhere. It's difficult to see back there with top up or down. Do I have to take out the rear seat in order to get these panels out of the car??? I was hoping it would be easier.

Thanks.

easier to remove the back seat.

I would say it's imperative to remove the rear seat. I'm pretty sure there are 1 or 2 screws behind the seat back.

The screws are under the seat 'back'. The sheet metal on the panel returns at a 90 for about 2 inches with a screw top and bottom.
