Do any of you know what the tallest steel cowl hood that, any company makes if so post a link or something.

I have never seen anything taller than 2 inches for a steel hood. I may remember seeing a 3 inch steel one but I am not sure of this. If I did see it I would have found it on Ebay. I do not know what year your car is but mine is a 67 so those are what I looked at. Settled on the 2 inch goodmark piece and was very satisfied once I finally received one that was not damaged in shipping. If you move to a fiberglass hood the options open up quite a bit more with something like a 4 inch or more cowl. The bigger cowls usually come in take off only hoods. Just something to think about. I know ulimited products (www.up22.com) makes up to 9 inch cowls but once again that is fiberglass.
