I need to repair some of the holes in the frame and body of my chevelle during my frame off. I see that Some vendors sell Body-To-Frame Mount Repair kits. They seem a little expensive for what looks like an ordinary washer. Has anyone ever just used a washer instead of buying the kit? What is the ID of this washer?
I made some out of metal, I forget the guage, give it a try.

i bought a big washer from our ace hardware for a buck and cut it to a square welded it in it was a thick guage and welded in perfect and cheap
just make sure the washer you get the bushing fits into correctly.

I had to fix a couple mount holes in my 71. I welded in new steel where the rust was, then cut the circle out with a hole saw. Cost nothing..
Look on this site for the source for them for around $12 for 10ea. from McMasters and Car. Also, techniques on doing it.
