I bought a 67 chevelle this summer that had these "fender flares" like molded into the fender. I'm sure this isn't original where does this come from there has got to be a story behind it. I have never seen any other chevelle with fenders like this.

a whill back on ebay a 66 was on ebay thet was suppsose to be show car back in the 80's that had fender flares. i thought it looked stupid

Usually they were hung to cover up bad quarter panels and or rusted wheel well lips. Or some kid in the 70's hung them on to look cool.
