I had my driver's side door glass replaced on my 69 malibu. The new glass doesn't line up with the weather stripping. I went back to the shop to have them adjust it, but all they did was make it worse. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to line it up correctly. Thank you.

That glass has a bunch of alignment possibilities..Up, down, fore, aft, tilted in, tilted out..what does or doesn't the window do? Air noise, water leak, hit the blow out clip when closing the door? Need more info to try to help solve the problem! OR Get yourself a Fischer Body Manual for your car and learn to fix it yourself. It's not hard after you understand what each adjustment does.

It does all three. There is a lot of air noise, when I drive it the air pulls the glass out. Water also leaks in. And the front top corner hits the plastic.

WOW, my first quote! That window does sound messed up! Man, three out four, who aligned it, Stevie Wonder? Time to either attempt it yourself or find a reputable glass shop and have them do it right. I think I would talk to the manager of the shop that installed the glass and see if he has someone more qualified to solve your problem.
