Hi
I bought some Zaino and have not yet used it. It says that the wax must be removed from the car first and have a clean surface.
Since I haven't waxed the car in about a year ( have used detailer only) and my car sits under a cover in the garage, I really dont want to wash it (took me months to detail the grill, chrome, etc) if I dont have too.
My thought is to use a clay bar to remove the wax, but not sure if a clay bar will do that.
So, if the clay bar does not remove the wax, any ideas on how to prep the surface so its wax free without washing the car ?
Thanks

I think Zaino recommends that you use Dawn dishwashing liquid the remove the wax off of the car. Check their website. www.zainobros.com (http://www.zainobros.com)

To remove wax from a car, all you have to do is wash with any dish washing soap. Just as Leo said, Dawn is probably the best.

Even if you use a clay bar you will need to use water for it to slide on. May as well wash with dish detergent, unless there is debris in the paint which the clay would be ideally suited to removing...

yea dawn is what you want, use the blue original formula, has no hand softeners and is not scented, you don't want that junk on your paint
