hey everyone, i just happened to find this board and this is awesome, I have a 68 chevelle I am currently trying to make into a outlaw dragradial but am along ways away as far as $$$$ goes, this car has sorta been but on the backburner since I got my 02TA it is amasing what you can do with those cars, currently it is a camonly and suspension ls1 and runs a best of 11.57 1/4 and get 21 mpg. but anyway thanks brian

It sounds like your 68 is kicka$$, why not post some pics?
11.57 and gets 21 MPG?? Holy crap! My 67 runs high 12's and gets 15 MPG...What drivetrain is in it?

I know what your talking about. It's hard to work on the Chevelle when my Formy daily driver runs upper 12's pretty much stock. Gets 25+ on the highway, a/c, handles fantastic, tops out @ over 160mph. LSx's are an amazing motor. I hope to find one cheap and install one along with the 4l60e in my 67 some day. Or better yet. The new LS7 would be bitchin in an old Chevelle.
But no more mods for the Formy, this is my Chevelles summer to get going and on the road.
