Hi fellas.
I have a Mitchell Arms/High Standard Victor or Victor 2 (I have to check) in stainless. I paid about 550.00 about 10 years ago. Has about 200 rounds through it. Any idea on the value?

The original High Standard Victor, used in excellent condition, will sell for upwards of $800. The Mitchell/High Standard version...for maybe half that.

Not to steal your post, but I have a question. What is the best way to sell a hand gun? I have a brand new never fired Dan Wesson .357 that I want to sell but I cant figure out how to sell it. E-bay wont touch them and I dont want to sell it to anyone off the street. I feel like I'm stuck with it.

Ron,
Don't take my word for it, but I don't think you need an FFL to sell a privately owned handgun in TN. The problem is that you have to make sure that the buyer is allowed to buy it. This is kinda difficult to do without having access to the instant background check, but many dealers will do it for you for a fee (like $20-25 or so). You can also check Gunbroker.com (http://www.gunbroker.com/), it's like an eBay for guns. You'll need to send and transfer through an FFL dealer though.

You could just send it to me! Unfortunately I don't think you can send it through the mail to unless the person is a gun dealer. Out here in the wild west you can just take it down to the swap meet and sell it to anyone who is willing to pay your asking price. the swap meet by my folks house looks like a small gun show every weekend. Another thing to think about is that USPS and UPS won't accept guns, but I think Fed Ex will.

I had a gun dealer in SC send my AK47 from being repaired. He sent it UPS to NC.

Many people do send UPS or USPS without telling anyone that there's a gun in the box. I needed to send a gun a couple of years ago, and asked at the post office and the UPS terminal. They said no and told me to use Fed Ex, and I read the same thing in SGN not too long ago. Rules might have changed though.
