I need to know what I have to do to prep the underbody that has POR-15 on it before I use Chassiscoat. There will be about 4 days from the time I finshed the second coat of POR-15 until I can apply the chassiscoat. Any suggestions?

I also need help on what to do about some fisheye areas in the paint. I must have missed this spot with the marine clean. What do I need to do to correct this problem?

If I remember right, all you need to do is make sure that the surface with the POR-15 on it is clean, and then you can just paint the chassiscoat paint right over top. They are specifically meant to work together, so there shouldn't be any problems. Don't know about the fisheyes.

I've tried painting the Chassiscoat after the POR had dried. The Chassiscoat peeled right off. I then tried roughing up the POR with sandpaper and the roughness showed through the Chassiscoat. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/frown.gif Man I really got to hating that stuff. I couldn't brush it on (comes out really ugly) and I couldn't get it so spray on well. I'm no painter, though, so maybe it was just my ignorance.

the company says you could paint over it any time i waited 2 days looks great

Did anyone use marine clean and metal ready as the prep for the chassiscoat or just marine clean or nothing at all?
