Just remeber, these are used and will not always be in the condition you expect. If you find a nice one, expect to pay over $100 for it. You said you bought the insert, the 69 Malibu is the same as the SS except for the insert. If you find a nice Malibu dash strip, drill off the top of the machined over studs, disassemble and put new SS396 strip inside. Put back together with epoxy over the studs or any really good adhesive. Good luck.
