I'm looking to see if anyone can e-mail me,or post a picture of what the underside of a flapper equipped cowl induction hood looks like.I have a ss NON-flapper hood for my 72' and want to see the difference. I'm interested in how the air passages look (from flapper to where it mates with the seal on the air cleaner.

You can sleep in your car,but you cant drive your house.
This is a big of the biggest difference between the hoods.

Thanks for the pic DG.The people at Team Chevelle rock! Does anyone make this part of the hood so I can retro mine and make it functional as a cold air intake?

As far as I know, it's the whole hood or nothing. The repo hoods are less than $300. I have one and I am very satisfied with it.

Hey Tom, I also bought one of the Goodmark hoods fo rmy 70. A 71-72 C.I. to be exact. I wanted one without hood pin holes, but price was right. I epoxy primered the topside and plan to chassis black underneath.
The GM hood you see in the pic (underside is POR-15 glossy) will be for sale as soon I finish prepping the Goodmark hood.
