Anyone know what the lightest production flywheel weighs for a sbc 2 piece crank and what did it come on. Also what size clutch does it fit..
I'm using a 3 speed saginaw if that makes any difference.
thanks. jack

From the goodwrench website:

14085720 Flywheel
Outside diameter is 12 3/4" for years 1955-85. Crank Flange bolt pattern: 3.58"; clutch dia.: 10.4"; starter ring gear teeth: 153. Lightweight nodular iron flyweel. Weighs approximately 15 pounds. For two piece crank seal.

I believe this is the lightest flywheel GM offers, but it was never a reg8ular production part, just over the counter, AFAIK.
