http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/obseSSed/2004_1110Image0005.JPG You are looking at the lower front inside corner of my door after sand blasting. I thought these were pretty cherry doors. Is this repairable or should I look into buying another door. The only other rust out is a couple of small spots on the lower corners on the outside of the door

I am no body man by any means, but I agree with storm. My doors weren't near as bad and I bought replacements.

I thought I remembered hearing that whole ne repro doors are available now?

Seems to be a fair supply of used doors though if you look around. The southwest and west coast to places like Idaho (believe it or not) usually have low rust parts, if they weren't in the midwest at one time.

If the doors are that bad, make sure you inspect everything else under the car now. I'll bet you find more surprises.

The rest of the car looks really good. The only other bad spot that I found was at the bottom of the cowl area and that was just a couple of small spots.

I would buy new doors. They are pretty plentiful.

Are the replacement doors of good quality as far as fit and metal guage, etc.? Like Goodmarks doors, are they direct factory repros or is there others that have better quality doors out there? Also does anyone have any phone numbers or website addresses for good salvage yards from the southwest? Thanks for any help.
