I'm doing a frame off restoration on my 1964 Chevelle Malibu SS and was looking for some recommendations on a power steering box. I'd like to find something in the aftermarket that has a quick response probably with a short throw ratio. My aim with all the parts I'm buying is to turn it somewhat into a canyon carver.

Can anyone explain the stock power steering ratio for other chevelles in the 64-72 era?

And of course post your recommendations. I've been looking at pumps by detroit speed, OPGI, year one etc.
