Well no matter what I do, I'll always be thinking if I should or should not weld out my door handles. I've heard the pros and cons and have been concidering it for over a year. Tonight, I did it without thinking :D Well the passenger side. Tell me if this sounds ok.

For those who have done it or know the process. I sanded off any paint and etc. Cut some small pieces of extra metal I had from my floor pan install. Into small Square pieces. I was going to go in from the front but the more I looked at it the better it seemed to go from the back. So I took off the interior skin and held a piece on the inside, and welded from the outside, seems to have worked perfectly, I just need to grind any of the minor highs I got and put in a little bit of filler, prime , sand etc.
Is that it?

Ya, me too! I always here people say what a pain in butt they are, But I say beauty IS work. Just make sure you have a hidden push button and a hidden pull cord/cable to open the doors if you lose the remote or the battery dies is what I here to do.
Please let us know What other problems or tip you come across while doing yours so we know.
