I have a 383 (5.7 stroke) with Speed Pro Forged flat top Pistons (with valve reliefs)... they have L2491F .030 inscribed on top and Canfield Angle Plug heads (65cc Chanbers). I used a Fel Pro head gasket #FPP 1003.
What would my static compression ratio be?

The calc didn't come out right so I must have done something wrong....

Hey Jim... got your message... been really busy the last few days. I plan to fire up the car tomorrow. I need to go to Conrads this week to get the trans adjusted. I want to make sure the TV cable is adjusted correctly before I drive it so I'll trailer it over there. When I had calculated the compression ratio before with the 68cc AFR heads it was 10.47:1 and now that I have gone to a 65cc chamber I was wondering if I had gone to 11:1.

I just calc. it with the piston down.020. the head gasket is 4.166 by .041 I figured 6cc valve reliefs and I came up with 10.3-1. With a zero deck I come up with 10.85-1.
Why'd you use a 400CI head gasket? Let me know when you go over to Conrads..I'd like to here it run
