Has anyone added back a vinyln top?
How would I go about this?

Yea when I was 15 I got this car and I didn't like the top on it so I took it off and removed all the pins. I have since finished the car but knowing it supposed to have a top bothers me so I would like to put it back? (The dumb things we do when we are young, I could kick myself in the ### for that one)It would of looked good orange with a black top but no I wanted it all orange

Any suggestions?

find the trim, they make a screw replacement pin. Someone in here will be more than happy to help you determine the exact placement of them, depending on your year.

The best way to mark the moldings on to the car is to use double sided sticky tape, the red 3m stuff is best,,stick all the mlds in place on the car and use an eraceable marker to outline, then make your marks, the 69s are pretty easy there is almost no give to where the molding go

I know that a lot of paint and body shop supply stores sell similar items. I have also seen many vendors at swap meets carrying similar items.

I'd do a search on google for them. I have a business card from Dr. bolt that says they have window clips, moulding clips and other fasteners.
