Looking for advice on who to send a few items off for restoration such as alternator, power brake booster, chrome pieces and guage cluster. Priority would be honesty,especially as far as getting back the SAME part I sent and not getting it changed out on me. Second would be Quality. Anyone be willing to help me out here?? THANKS!!!

I got a guy who can do anything brake related (that I know of) that you would be really happy with, you could ask if he does any of the other stuff. If you want the contact info PM me. I think a couple of the other guys here may have used him as well. Excellent service, impeccable work and very reasonable. He is in canada, but that shouldnt make any difference other than a few dollars more for shipping. Jason.

I would recommend Tri-City Plating for bumpers ($240 each last spring) and Advanced Plating for other chrome (fairly priced and excellent service).

Anything I send out I mark with a dremel, somewhere it won't show when you re-install it. Then you are sure you get your parts back.

I would use Steve Gregori for plating of brake booster, and other hardware.
I just got my power booster back, and the plating job is the best. Got to send more parts out for gray phosphate plating. Steve web stite is WWW.brakeboosters.com

Thanks for the help all of you who took the time to offer advice. Am allready checking in to several of them and looks real promising. How about interior stuff,like seatcovers & foam, headliner, guage cluster and dash face resto??? I have heard of a few NIGHTMARES on the dash stuff , like someone sent his dash off and the place ended up cutting it intwo . Any help?? THANKS!!!

Ken Bruno did the ol switcheroo on me with some parts and I caught him with pants down. He sent me someone elses parts so that guy got the shaft after I told him I marked my stuff. I would pass on him as I am sure he has done it before, just the facts.

It would be nice to find someone honest.
