Cal, according to Paul Herd's Chevrolet Interchange Manual, this should be correct. Doors- 66 & 67 will interchange. Tailgate-64 thru 66 are the same 67 shows a different # I don't know if it is because of trim, (chevrolet letters), taillamps, or both. Back window- 64 thru 67 Elcamino. Windshield- also fits 64-67 Elcamino, plus some others. I think the Roof fits 64-67 Elcamino also, as windshield and backglass, & drip mldgs all are the same. Remember that the glass has date codes if you are trying to be "correct" Have Interchange Manual if you have any other Questions. Karl

As alway's, you the man Karl. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/wink.gif I know a guy near me that has the above mentioned stuff, but he's kinda high and only has one door. Just doing some thinking out loud about keeping the 67.
Anyone know the difference on the tailgate's. Thank's, Cal

While I wouldn't bet the house, I think the only difference is in the trim (Chevrolet letters) Karl

The only difference I can think of that hasn't been mentioned is the child proof locks. In '67 there were many safety changes from the larger collapsable steering columb (meaning larger opening in dash) to dual master brakes and I think even flashers. I was told seat belts were optional but came standard anyway.
The child proof lock only means that after '66 the interior latch will not open the door while locked.
