Did 1970 Chevelles have a blue bucket seat interior available on Super Sport optioned cars? If it was available was the steering column & wheel black or was it blue? I read in a Chevelle source book that SS cars all had black columns & steering wheels. My car is a bench seat car converted to buckets (bright blue or medium blue interior). It is clone car but I would like it to be appropriate in its’ color scheme. I have no intention of trying to pass car off as a real SS, but if I am going to repaint the floor shift column I would rather it be the correct color. Thanks

Blue interior was definitely available. Not sure about column question.

Column and wheel would always be black in a 70 SS.

I'm almost certain that I have seen the 70 SS steering column and wheel in colors other than just black.
