: Headliner - how does it attach?

When I got my car it didn't have a headliner, it has 5 bows, and there are metal strips that screw to the roof around the edges, but there is no evidence of how exactly the headliner attaches at the edges, I have nothing else, no trim pieces, nothing.

Anyone have any "install" pics to show exactly how the header liner attaches to these strips?

I have a 70 chevelle and mine had sharp spurs on the metal strips to hold it tight when you install it. They also appeared to have had glue around the edges and then folded over the metal edge and was covered by plastic mouldings around front, rear and doors. Hope that helps!

The bows get strung through 5 long loops in the headliner, and then the headlier edges get pulled tight and glued to the brackets you mentioned.
