I have the dash, dash pad and steering column out of my 70 SS but I can't quite figure out how to remove the steel frame that the dash screws onto. It just seems to be hanging there, I tried removing the square nut where it is connected but I did not want to force it. It would be a lot easier to reinstall if I could remove that (Darn) steel frame.
So, I need HELP.

The dash and frame that it sits in are essentially one piece and come out best together.
