hey guys, and gals.

well i had my velle dyno'd today. what a boat load of fun, and worth the 80.00. im going back again this spring/summer, after the muncie, roller rocker, muffler swap, anmd some other little things im gunna fix.

1st run put down 253hp and 310 ftlbs
2nd run was 254hp and 309ft lbs
3rd run we messed with timing, pulled it back to 32deg full advanced, and it fell to 240ish, had massive backfire out carb
4th run we set timing back to 8 initial, and ran it and was somthing like 250ish. didnt care to much, as long as it ran better.
5th and last run was the best. after letting the car sit for about a half hour to cool down, we gave it another run. 266hp @5000 and 301 ft lbs @4000

i am really happy with these numbers. i have the graph i will post after i scan it and upload it. and i also have a video.

here is my setup:
350 std bore
flat top pistons 9:1cr max 89 octane
336 casting heads 76cc pocket ported, bowl blended, 1.94/.150 valves
comp xe268 cam (477/480 lift 224/230 @0.050 110lsa)
factory stamped rockers
holley 300-36 (street dominator) intake
holley 750 vac sec carb
crane XR-i ignition, accel wires, accel super coil, stock springs and weights, timing at about 8 inital.
1 5/8" headers, with exhaust leak, and 2.5" exhaust with summit turbos and flowmaster tails
160* t-stat
stock powerglide trans
stock 3.08 open rear
225/60/15's on rear.

all in all, not bad for a daily driver. im just wandering how much more power im going to add with the muncie, roller tip rockers, new mufflers, fixed exhaust leak, and any other mods i plan on doing. should be fun.

Congrats, Great to hear the car is running good for you. I had a great time when I dyno'd my car, it was an experience. Did you go to PSI in Slatington?

sure did rick.

i think my timing if still off. the distributor has to be about a tooth off or somthing, because the vac. advance is pointed near the firewall. but still runs good.
