finally got the 396 dropped without the exaust manifolds now we cant seem to get them to go in im sendin a link to the ones i purchased. do you have to remove the steering column to get them in we are frustrated and finished for the nite thanks for all the help

That's because the are for a full size Chevrolet, will not work on a Chevelle. I see so many ebay auctions that list these type manifolds for a Chevelle. Get your money back.

3892307, 3909880 are two used in 67. If you aren't worried about originality they make pretty good repo's

I had the same problem with mine,, I bought a set at Carisle that was suppose to fit...Wrong I searched evilbay for weeks ended up buying a repo set from Ground Up...... fit and appreance... A+ (for repops) imo..:)

The only problem with the repos the pass side is for later built 67's and up.

Dynomax Ceramic coated is a reasonably priced set of full headers. There are also headers that resemble the old "rams horn" manifolds that feed a 2 inch down pipe.
Anyone else?
