I was thinking of buying the Miller msw-41-110.
It is a 110 volt machine that welds 1/8 sheetmetal.
My question is do you guys think it is enough for doing wheelhousings to trunk, inner to outer wheelhouse and simalar repairs, Miller sells a 220 version as well but it would be nice to have it plug right in the wall.
I have a miller 210 mig unit so I don't need anything to big as far as a spot welder goes.
So far it is a tie at work 2 people say the 110 is fine 2 say that I should get the 220 oh yeah my cornwell guy told me to learn oxy-act welding it is the only way to put a car together... I laughed and told him that is why he drives a falcon???????
By the way I can oxy- act weld and spot weld with my 210 but a friend and I both have our cars in the same set up which is 1/2 the trunk floor out inner and outer wheelhousings off and the rear quarter.....no kidden
So we are looking for speed and ease since we both have to do both sides and it seems to have a ton of acces to get a handheld spotweld unit in there plus I think I can get the miller 110 for around 300 bucks.
Thanks Stephe
