I have a small piece that I know was on the back side of the insturment panel, somehow connected to the dash. I think it was actually held between the dash and insturment panel. But as I put the dash back together, I can't remember where it goes. I also don't know what it is used for. It looks like it might be some kind of jumper or ground? Help!

I will try to describe the object.

it is a piece of thin metal (like tin) with two screw wholes on each end. The piece is about 1/2 inch wide. At about 1/2 inch it has a 90 degree bend upward or to the left and then at the next 3/8 of an inch it takes another 90 degree left turn. The lenght of that section is about 3/4 of an inch and each side tapers at the end to a width of about 1/4 inch. From a side view it kind of looks like one of the S's on the Natzi SS emblem. The screw whole on the tapered end has a rectangular indention that suggest it is to lay over a raised area.

Thanks

Calling would be ok but a picture is worth a thousand words so lets start with that... The flexable air duct is for a car with a/c mine doesnt have that. also you might think of buying an assembly manual they are really helpfull and around 25 bucks I will look for the picture
