Did plastic inner fenders come stock on 71 307 Malibu's? The car was built in Canada as the sticker is still in the door jamb. I have heard both they did and did not come with plastic inner fenders. Does anyone know for sure?

This subject has been discussed too many times to even think about. There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason. My 71 was built in Baltimore and had plastic. Others in this same area have had metal. Some people say that cars destined for the "snow belt" had plastic. I dont think anyone really knows for sure.
