Just wondering what the going rate is to spray a car. I am going to get my Sprint done and what some ideas before I start getting estimates. It will need some hood, lower fender, Driver's door, Driver's Quarter and bed repair as well as a new paint job. Any ideas and thoughts are welcome.
Thanks

They will vary. One place near me charges $38 per hour. That's probably considered cheap to some.

The guy I know charges 46 and 50 bucks an hour one for body, one for mechanical.. I think the body is the lower.. but I also think he just upped his rates..

Locally E. PA. it's
$38.00 frame rack
$36.00 body work
This if for Crash work. The rate for rust and restoration is unusually higher and at a
Time-Materials base.

Brian, if you're going to do the body work yourself, and just have the guy spray it, expect around $350-$400 + maybe a little extra for prep/materials.

My cousin had one of his painters spray my car-guy only wanted $250 to spray it, and did one heck of a job!
