I've used it. I used it to fill in some "low areas" of my cowl and a few small holes. I think it worked great. I filled in the areas and and let it set about a week (just because I did most of the work weekend-to-weekend) and came back and sanded it...sands smooooooooth,

There are a couple pics on my "cowl/engine detail" site below....

Good Luck!

We used the stuff on the floor of an Elky for my Dad to fill in small rust holes and also as a seem sealer in the cowl area. It works great. Just as a test, my Dad took some extra and balled it up and put it in a glass of water. The next day, he took it out of the water and it was hard as a rock.

Hey Clark 68, I used the POR-15 epoxy putty in a few places at the lower left hand corner of my rear windshield area on my 68 Chevelle. I also used it on a few places on the floor too. Its really great stuff. I have a spray bottle full of water handy and when Im mixing the two parts together I give it a squirt or two of water and it really smoothes out nice when applying it that way, saving on alot of sanding time. Is your 68 a Malibu or SS ? Auto. on colomn or on floor? Do you have any pics. that you can post on it yet? Good Luck with your restoration. -----------------Mark-----------------1968 Chevelle Malibu (Weekend Cruiser) 1968 Chevelle Malibu (Daily Driver)

Ditto to the above  Add a little water when it starts to get sticking on your hands and it really helps. smile.gif

Clark68 - Are you talking about their two part epoxy or their new "bondo" type body filler?

well, I just bought both. I am getting ready to use the body filler RestoGrip over my new steel corner around my rear window frame. I have seen a lot of cars that split bondo there so I wanted something that is harder than most fillers. I bought some epoxy putty sticks to smooth out around my custom cowl. I have a digital camera but no idea how to post them. Its a malibu that is going to be a B&M floor shifter with an SS hood, bench seats (kinda like'em actually), and modern highlights. I am building the car to my standards not anyone elses so keeping it original is not the idea... just a cruiser that looks old. graemlins/beers.gif
