Im going to look at another project car tommorrow, it's suppose to have a 454 out of a 88 suburban.
Can anyone tell me what kind of motor this would be? if its a gen 5 I know to look for the fuel pump delete. other than that??? thanks Jim

I can't answer that one, but if you get a head casting #...I'm sure someone here can answer that question

went and looked at it, peanut port intake, guy told me he borrowed a carb and exh. manifold and fired it. as I looked for the oil slick under the car. I asked where he fired it up, he looked at me like he didn't understand why I asked. well there was no oil filter on it! I tried to turn the motor by grabbing the balancer, not a budge, grabbed the flexplate no go. tapped the oil pan, no oil! I asked how it sounded, he says it runs great. I told him I have a nice honda 200s atc I would trade if he was interested, but thats all I'd offer.
