I went to order new windshield and rear window moldings along with new drip rails from the chevelle shop last weekend. The guy their said they don't sell anything that actually fits.

I've got the original rear window molding, with only a few dents. I also have the drip rails which are very crooked, but not creased. I have no front windsheild molding.

Has anyone ever replaced these parts on a 66-67, or any velle for that matter. I'm looking for someone who has had a good experience with repo window chrome before I hit the swap meets, or repair what I have.

Rockstar. I have used a set of repro drip rails. They are a fair replacement, fit rather well.

When I needed them I was not able to buy new vinyl moldings (66 HT) and decided to have the old ones chromed. Went rather well.

I used my original window moldings (stainless steel). You can buy repro ones, but the warning says to buy a comlete set because of color or format differences.

Hope this helps.
