Hi i have power brakes on my chevelle and i have everything togeather but it doesn't seem like the vacume is helping it stop, u have to push the pedel as hard as you can to come to a stop fast and i meant hard. The pcv hose running from the intake to the booster i think might be too small in size would that prevent the boster from working or could it be the booster it selve that is not working?
thanks

66bowtie, I saw your question and thought I'd throw my .02 cents in here. the hose that you're using, if it is pcv hose, will not do the job. You need hose that is designed to be used as booster hose, it will say so on the hose. It has a thick wall and will not collapse under the high vacuum conditions that the booster operates under. keep us posted. This really belongs in the Brakes section.
