Dear Guys, I have a '69 SS in primer and I was thinking of having it painted blue. I don't want it to be the same colour blue as a friends '69, so I checked the Paint Codes section I see medium metallic blue #53 and a bright metallic blue # 71. I was just wondering "Was med. met. blue ever called Glacier Blue? Also was bright met. blue what they called Le Mans blue?" I a pretty sure I have heard these terms before and was wondering if they are Chevelle colours.

Hey Rod, they were both Chevelle Colors for the 69 model year. You will find all the colors and codes on this page (http://www.geocities.com/don111ca/page94.html) of my website. You know my car which is Lemans Blue #71.

Glacier was the light Blue, Lemans the medium and Dusk the dark.
