I would like to take my 70 Chevelle convertible body off its frame for restoration. Do I need to fab some supports from front jamb to rear jamb? Or should I leave doors on until I get body on rotissiere? When should I take out windshield? Floors and rockers are pretty solid except for some small areas in the floor.

Put in the supports! Why take a chance on doing any damage. I took my 65 convertible off the frame about one month ago. The pics on my web page show how I decided to support mine. I used the hinge and striker bolt holes to fasten the braces on the doors. J.C.
