Are Allomatic clutch fibers comparable in quality to Raybestos?

Allomatic is fine, as is Alto.
I prefer Borg Warner over Raybestos. Transgo had an article several years ago about the shedding nature of Raybestos clutches causing problems, particularly in late model trans with aluminum valve bodies.
Shed material becomes "grit" that sticks valves, etc.

Alto makes a good clutch, as I've used them and seen them after a season of racing, still fine even in clutches with an upshifting torque load.

I've used the Allomatic's without issue too.

Really just about any of them work well.

I've pulled BW's out of 30 year old trans, they stilll have the Borg ink on them, and still look new....

I had some problems with Allomatic frictions many years ago. Being a middleaged / stubborn fart I will not use them to this day.

I would think any of the current offerings will work fine in a light duty street application

Ok....I'll run them. That's what comes in our Napa Transmission Overhaul kits........so when I can get everything I need(besides new sprag race and TransGo kit) for $70 I'd like to go that route:).
