I'm about as far away as you can get from Florida in the Continental US but we try to keep up with the news. Hopefully it will fizzle out or miss the US completely. It sounds like this one is making it tough for the experts to predict. According to the Frapper map there are a bunch of Chevelles in that area. Surely people down there are getting better info than we are out here, so all you members in S. Florida be ready just in case but good luck
on having it go away safely.

You wouldnt say that if you lived down here, (Ft. Pierce) we had both storms come over top of us last year.

Why do you think no one cares? It's only natural for citizens of any country to worry most about the people of their country..when this one is over I bet the good old USA helps those other countries too..

Mexico/Cuba? why would I care, most of them are up here anyway so.... who cares.

Rick, Mexico sells us oil, that comes out of those waters. Cuba sells sugar to Mexico and Mexico sells it to us, also transported through those waters.

Not to mention Americans make tons of money from the cruise ships and hotels that travel to the Yucatan area. Lots of Americans IN those ships and hotels, also.

I was in CanCun /Isla Mujeres two weeks ago, Everything there is broken already! We had a little of Hurricane Stan, lost power, minor flooding...WIlma went over the top of them. I can't imagine what was happeneing there when the eyewall went through.
