I went to the differential decoding site and I am unable to decode these 2 12 bolt rear ends. Can somebody help me, decode these rears ends?

KDC = 2.73 non-posi, this is a 1971 and 1972 format

108 2 = 108th day of the year, 2nd shift

048 1 = 48th day of the year, 1st shift

Look for a casting date on the rear of the center section to find out what year they are.

A 1970 rear end with same 2.73 ratio would be coded CKD and would have a 4 digit date code indicating month and day instead of the 3 digit Julian date.
