Friends,

Anyone know where you can purchase a product called Novus Plastic Polish? I heard through the grapevince it is excellent in cleaning and removing scratches from plastics. Thanks for anyone that can help.

PS. I check my Eastwood catalog and did not see it in 3 issues.

You can also use a product called Blue Magic. Its a metal polish but it works great on plastic. I used it on my dash with great results, actully I use it on everything.

You can also purchase polishing kits which are very fine sand paper from 3,000 to 12,000 grit

Friends,

Thanks for all the tips ad leads. I could not locate a store Wood???? that was near enough here to help. I traveled all over the southern end of KC/KS today and found nothing. Well, I did find McGuires #10 & 17 plastics polishes at a Napa Store. 7.00 bucks a bottle and the #17 polish said I should finish with the #18. Three compunds to achieve one goal so I passed. Anyway I guess I will hold out and wait for my Novus order to come to my door step. Thanks all.

Most Harley Davidson dealerships here in So Ca carry the Novus product you're after.
It won't remove scratches. It's just used as a cleaner that won't scratch the Lexan windshields on the bikes.
Blue Magic is your best choice. I have used it many times for polishing plastic automotive pieces. Start with some 2000 to 2500 wet/dry to remove deeper scratches. Follow with the Blue Magic, rub, rub, rub, and the plastic pieces will look like new.
