I was wondering a ball park figure for the cost of repairing and replacing the rust prone strip on my 67 Elco that goes between the bottom of the back window and the bed. It's starting to rust through to the inside so I need to get it fixed A.S.A.P.

The part is $40.00 from The muscle factory
Remove rear glass. remove old panel, fit and weld in new panel and Finnish seams re install window = 350 . as for paint now that's another issue. the only blending is the bulk head, it depends on what paint etc. ect??? Martinsir has a fantastic method of putting drain tubes in the lower window frame corners to keep this from happening again.
SO IMHO $500 would be ball park number finished but estimates are not my strength
