My 1967 Malibu has recently fried a turn signal switch due to a short in steering column. I know when i purchased this vehicle that the steering column was not original. By the looks of the horn button and a picture of the turn signal cam shown in one of the Chevelle parts magazines I am pretty sure its a 65. The above mentioned mag shows two turn signal switches for 64-66. One is for switches "stamped BPC" and one is for switches "stamped GUIDE". Mine has no stampings other then a part number 5956995. Can anyone tell me how to identify which one it is I need?
Thanks

Hey I figured it out. If anyone ever has the same problem, its not the switch that is stamped but the inside of the cone that the switch mounts to. Happy Motoring
