I just put my front clip back together after a quick chem strip and epoxy prime and seem to be missing one of the support braces/brackets that help secure the fenders to the core support. They are basically an "L" shaped stamped steel piece with four holes, two of which have the threaded inserts. Is there any suppliers that may carry this piece? Thanks in advance for the help.

If it's the piece I'm thinking of, Ground Up carries them.

I did not see it in the NPD, Ausley's or Ground Up catalog's. I will try to post a picture to help in the description. The piece in question is right behind the fender extension housing. If you were to take the head lamp and extension housing off it would be holding the fender to the core support. thx

I knwo what you are talking about- they are basically a 6" piece of angle iron, right? With a couple of box nuts welded to them, and a couple of holes for bolts to pass thru another surface. I needed one for my 1970 left front, and has to go scavange for them in a guy's yard. I think he charged me $3.00 for it. I could go check on a set for you if you needed me to. I have not seen them in any catalogs.

I know the piece but its not made in the A/F world. They support the leading edge of the fender ext.
You will need to resort to the junkyards, becareful as right and left dont interchange
