Looking at the back side of our chevelle, we found rust on the rocker panels, some pretty bad. What is the best way to fix this????
Thanks,

If they are really bad replace the rocker panels as a whole. I could be wrong, but I believe new rocker panel section reproductions can be purchased from most of the Chevelle parts vendors.
If you go this route, make sure the body shop knows what they are doing. The rocker panels add a good deal of needed stiffness to the body shell. If the body is allowed to sag when the old panels are cut off, the new ones won't fit well and the car may end up being slightly out of shape especially in the door frame area where the shell is weakest.
