I've had my front door hinges apart for eighteen months and need help putting the top hinges back together. Do the bushings for the pins have the lip in from the top or bottom? I seem to remember that the botton bushing has the lip on the bottom, is that right?

Haha, you got the same name as me, but mine's spelled with a T.
Either way, to your question, If I'm understanding right, you just want to know how the pins and bushings go in, not how the hinges are oriented.
Picture them on the car, and make the pins where the flange of them is on top, so they dond work themselves out from underneath, and the same theory on the bushings, having the flanges of the bushings facing outward, or sandwiching in between the halves of the hinges, so they to dont "work" back out.
If you want, I can take pics of how they are on my 71, which whould be the same.
