Rowdy

A few years ago, I purchased a '66 Chevelle outside Salt Lake City. It had a decent small block and a th350 with a shift kit and 9" converter. I pulled that combo in favor of my 439 BB, Fairbanks th400 with a 10". I did drive the small block combo, in a limited capacity, for several months prior to the swap. Although the tranny started to taqke a dump, the converter seemed O.K. (A little loose compared to my 10", most noticeable in reverse).
Anyway, I've considered selling or possibly trying with my latest project: 540- Tentatively: 700hp/640tq, Coan- street/strip th400.
First I'd like to know something about it...ie. brand and perceived quality of brand......On the flywheel side of the unit, about an inch or so from the hub (pilot) there is an outline of the United States (stamped, indented) with the outlined block letters: G E R (Stamped)....This logo is stamped twice; 6 & 12 o'clock.
Everything looks first rate, nothing cheap looking, but, hey, how much does it cost for two stamps and some black spray paint compared to a brazened stator or whatnot.
thanks
