Just wondering. I have a sbc with dart heads.what benifit would there be in jumping to a 1.6 ratio rocker. i have comp magnum roller tip 1.5s now.
a comp cam approx 480 lift. screw in studs. Thanks for any input.

More ratio=more lift for a given lobe. That becomes a big plus when you start dealing with long stroke sbc's with stock cam locations. The higher ratio will allow you to achieve desired lift on a smaller lobe which will help achieve proper rod to cam clearance. I run 1.7 rockers on my 427sbc.
