Power windows, in dash tach, top of dash clock, wood wheel too.
Check out the dash bezel.....wood grain. Never seen that on a '64, added?

As Artie Johnson used to say on 'Laugh-In' back in the late sixties, 'Verry Interesting....'

That brake pedal does not look like an original type used on an automatic, it looks like a manual trans version. I won't say the truck is untouched, just that it is frozen in time...

It looks to have a 4 speed hump on the tunnel. I think someone did some alterations. Does the trim tag look strange to anyone else? Only 2 spots for rivets, and it looks welded instead of riveted? Looks like a nice car, but not as original as the seller is saying.

Trim tag looks fine and El Camino may have originally been a 4 speed (2L code). The L would have been a M if it was a Powerglide. I'd like to get a better look at the firewall to see if there was a backup light switch harness. The spare tire cover is something you don't see every day; original equipment with the bucket seats. Cool El Camino!

I thought that the dash bezel was unique. I don't believe it was ever offered in woodgrain? Probably owner applied, but nice work around all the bezel openings.

As I recall years and years ago you could buy woodgrain for a 64 in the J.C.Whitney catalog. I remember that becasue back in the 70s when I owned a 64 I used to look at them and think it might be neat looking ...... However after seeing it I am not so sure lol

He claims the transmission may have been switched on the assembly line. I find that hard to believe myself. Nice car but a few red flags for what he states it is.
