Our last fight was my fault: My wife asked me "What's on the TV?"
I said, "Dust!"

Mark, first off I am not a big Por-15 fan, but what does it say in the POR-15 tech sheet?

Did you brush it on? I believe that POR-15 can be sprayed and then painted over without sanding. If you have a brushed surface, then you may be in trouble. To smooth it out may need so much sanding that you go through. If it is sprayed, then a light sand with 220 and then an epoxy primer sealer then paint should do it.

It is a little late to tell you this but...
I personally would sand blast then etch prime, then black epoxy, then black SS urethane. No sanding in between products, it is done in an hour or so.
